The Missions Team of Southside UMC strongly believes that as Christians, we are called to live out our faith in tangible ways, sharing the love of Christ with others by caring for their needs and reaching out to them in service. In both Matthew 25:31-46, Whatever you have done for the least of these, you have done for me, and Matthew 22:37-39, Love the Lord your God... and your neighbor as yourself, we were led to undertake the following mission ministries for the coming year.

Our God cared about each of us so much that He gave His only Son for us. How then can we ignore His plea to help the needy? As the body of Christ, the Church, we are called to be His heart and His hands, too. May our hearts be broken by the things which break His, and may our hands be moved to care for those He loves!
